Obi Silver

Sakura FabricCCF0422-04

Obi Silver interprets the Sakura design in a pale, cool silver-grey palette, with soft grey-white blocks layered across a finely marked ground. The low-contrast surface has a lightly weathered, crosshatched appearance that changes subtly with the light.

About this fabric

This 240gsm woven fabric combines broken geometric forms with narrow vertical and horizontal striations, creating a textured abstract pattern rather than a sharply defined grid. The Obi Silver colourway stays airy and restrained: silver-grey marks sit over a chalky white ground, with occasional deeper grey fragments adding quiet depth. Its 42cm vertical repeat and 23cm horizontal repeat give the design a medium-scale rhythm suitable for both upholstery and drapery. A 138cm usable width and 40m standard length make it practical for broader furnishing projects.

How to use it

Use Obi Silver on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain where its cool grey-white tone can soften darker wood and charcoal accents. Keep surrounding finishes matte and pale to highlight the fabric’s subtle woven texture.

Pair the cool silver-grey ground with chalky neutrals, pale timber and clean-lined upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
