Obi Teal

Sakura FabricCCF0422-05

Obi Teal combines pale blue-teal tones with chalky white and grey highlights in a layered geometric design. Its softly distressed surface gives the pattern a woven, painterly character rather than a sharply printed finish.

About this fabric

This 240gsm fabric shows interlocking diamond and stepped geometric forms in a cool, washed teal, with lighter threads breaking up the blue and creating visible depth across the surface. Fine crosshatch marks and irregular tonal shifts give the cloth a tactile, weathered appearance. It has a 138cm usable width, a 42cm vertical pattern repeat and a 23cm horizontal repeat, allowing the repeating motif to be planned clearly across a larger upholstered or curtained surface. The standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Obi Teal to bring a cool, airy note to a sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain, pairing it with pale timber, chalky walls and warm neutral accents to balance its blue cast.

A cool, softly weathered teal geometric weave suited to upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
