This Titley & Marr fabric from the Chess and Chequers collection has no performance features noted, so its appeal comes from the look and handle shown here. The pattern is a small-to-medium checker repeat with irregular, fringed edges, picked out in a warm amber gold against an ivory ground. Fine blue-green lines between the rows add a cool counterpoint and stop the palette feeling too heavy.
