About this fabric

The face of Amalfi Slate appears finely woven, with delicate vertical striations that give the dark grey surface a restrained textural lift. Its cool slate tone moves towards charcoal where the fabric gathers, while the flatter areas catch a softer, muted light. Catalogued as Fabric, this colourway has no supplied composition, width, rub test or performance specification. The fluid drape shown here makes it particularly suited to curtain applications where tonal depth matters more than pattern.

How to use it

Use Amalfi Slate at full length in a room with pale stone, chalky white or washed timber, allowing its cool charcoal depth to frame windows without overwhelming them. Pair it with brushed metal or soft blue-grey accents to echo the shade’s quiet, coastal tone.

Use this cool slate grey for composed, understated curtains that bring depth without visual pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
