About this fabric

The stripe combines broad chalky ivory bands with misted blue-grey and taupe-grey sections, while finer charcoal-grey lines add definition through the design. Its fine woven surface is clearly visible across the pale ground, giving the cloth a lightly textured, natural appearance. In the folds, the changing direction of the stripes creates soft shifts between shadowed grey and brighter ivory. The overall impression is airy and understated, with the cool Seamist tones keeping the colourway calm rather than stark.

How to use it

Use Flamborough Seamist for full-length curtains where its fluid drape and cool blue-grey tones can soften a bright room. Combine it with warm pale timber, ivory upholstery and restrained grey accents to echo the stripe's muted contrast.

Pair this cool, misted stripe with chalky whites, pale oak and soft grey furnishings for an airy room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
