About this fabric

The grey is softened by a subtle mix of lighter and darker threads, giving the surface more depth than a flat solid shade. A fine crosswise texture is visible across the swatch, while the gathered folds create gentle changes from silvery grey to charcoal. Its fluid movement makes the cloth particularly suited to drapery, where the tonal variation can be seen as the fabric hangs. No further specification data is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Mercury at a full-height window where its cool grey tone can balance pale walls, white upholstery or darker graphite accents. The softly shaded folds would bring quiet movement to an otherwise clean-lined room.

A cool, finely textured grey with a fluid fall, well suited to full-length curtains and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
