About this fabric

The floral arrangement is clearly visible across the cloth, with cream sprays and medallion-like blooms winding over the muted taupe ground. Its substantial folds suggest a fabric with enough body for upholstery, while the close tonal contrast keeps the ornate pattern composed rather than stark. Light catches the raised-looking floral details and the creases, giving the surface gentle depth. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

The warm taupe base works especially well on a traditional armchair, headboard or occasional seat, where the cream pattern can sit alongside ivory, oatmeal and deeper brown accents without becoming too bright.

Use this warm taupe colourway to bring quietly ornate pattern to classic upholstery and softly layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
