About this fabric
The surface combines fine horizontal striations with irregular, cloud-like tonal markings, giving the steel-grey ground a gently distressed character. Its cool silver, grey and deeper graphite notes change subtly as the folds catch the light. The visible weave adds quiet tactile detail without introducing a bold repeated motif. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.
How to use it
Pair Rockefeller Steel with pale stone, chalk white and charcoal for a restrained contemporary scheme, or use it to temper warmer timber and brushed-metal finishes. The cool steel tone is particularly effective on softly shaped seating and full-length curtains where its tonal movement can be seen.
Use the cool steel-grey ground to bring a calm, architectural tone to upholstery or softly draped window treatments.
