About this fabric

The close-up shows a tightly textured woven surface in layered gravel grey, with darker charcoal flecks softening the otherwise even ground. Fine changes in tone catch the light across the cloth, creating gentle movement without a distinct motif. Its dense-looking weave makes it best suited to upholstery rather than lightweight drapery. No composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Pair this cool, muted grey with chalky whites, pale timber and charcoal accents for a restrained contemporary scheme. It would also sit comfortably against warmer stone or taupe tones, where the subtle mottling can prevent the upholstery from looking flat.

Use this cool, mineral grey on upholstered seating where its fine tonal texture can add depth without introducing a strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
