27 Matcha

Ghent Fabric27

Ghent 27 Matcha is shown here in a muted, earthy green with a closely spaced vertical rib that gives the surface a softly corded appearance. Its subdued tone shifts gently between olive and matcha as the ribs catch the light.

About this fabric

The fabric has a narrow vertical ribbed texture running consistently across the swatch, creating fine shadow lines and a subtle sense of direction. Its matcha-green colour is softened rather than bright, with an olive cast that gives the surface a calm, grounded character. The close-up shows a tactile woven face with enough visual variation to avoid looking flat while remaining understated. This heavier-looking ribbed construction makes it well suited to upholstery, particularly where a restrained texture is preferred over a pronounced pattern.

How to use it

Use 27 Matcha on a reading chair, banquette or sofa to introduce a quiet green accent without overwhelming the room. It works especially well alongside warm timber, chalky neutrals and natural woven accessories that echo its earthy tone.

Use this muted matcha green to bring a soft, earthy note to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
