About this fabric

The close-set weave combines soft grey, sage and olive-lichen tones, giving the surface a subdued depth rather than a flat block of colour. Tiny linked geometric details repeat across the cloth, while the narrow vertical shifts catch the light gently and make the pattern feel finely structured. Catalogued as a fabric, this colourway has no performance features noted in the supplied specification. Its dense-looking surface reads particularly well for neat, tailored upholstery.

How to use it

Pair 27 Lichen with warm oak, aged brass and oatmeal upholstery for a balanced scheme, or use it to cool a room with clay, rust and natural linen accents.

Use this quietly cool lichen shade on tailored upholstery, where its fine geometric weave adds texture without visual weight.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside 27 Lichen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
