50 Tigerlilly

Octans Fabric50

50 Tigerlilly has a deep burnt-orange ground with closely packed brown and dark flecks woven across the surface. The compact texture gives the colour a softly varied, earthy depth rather than a flat block of orange.

About this fabric

The small-scale weave combines warm rust, copper and dark brown notes, creating a tigerlily tone that reads rich and autumnal in the swatch. Fine irregular flecks and short horizontal movements make the surface look tactile and visually layered. Its dense, compact appearance makes it best suited to upholstery, particularly where a plain fabric with more depth than a solid colour is wanted. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use 50 Tigerlilly on an armchair, footstool or sofa to introduce a warm burnt-orange accent, balancing it with tobacco leather, dark timber, cream linen or muted olive. Its dark flecking also helps it sit comfortably alongside brown and charcoal furnishings.

A richly coloured, tightly textured upholstery fabric that brings warm depth to contemporary or heritage seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
