About this fabric

The close, even weave is visibly plain, with no pattern repeat and a subtle horizontal grain that gives the surface understated depth. At 280gsm and 130 threads per centimetre, it has enough substance for upholstery while retaining the clean fall suited to drapery. The 140cm usable width provides a practical span for making up larger pieces. Its anthracite colouring reads cooler and softer than true black, with a restrained sheen along the folded ridge.

How to use it

Use this cool anthracite grey to bring definition to a contemporary sofa, dining chair or headboard, or let it form calm, light-absorbing curtains against pale plaster and warm timber. Brass, smoked glass and muted stone tones will sharpen its smart, understated character.
