Oberon White Opal

Oberon White Opal presents a delicate damask of scrolling paisley and floral forms in closely related ivory and warm-white tones. The low contrast gives the pattern a softly veiled appearance, with the woven surface adding quiet definition.

About this fabric

The large design has a 147 cm vertical repeat and a 100 cm horizontal repeat, allowing its sweeping teardrop motifs and curling foliage to read across a generous drop. At 175 gsm and 320 cm wide, this is a light, broad-width fabric well suited to drapery. The White Opal colourway combines a pale ivory ground with slightly warmer, chalky motif details rather than a stark paper white. Fine woven texture and tonal relief become more visible where the light catches the raised-looking pattern.

How to use it

Use White Opal for generous curtains in a light-filled room, pairing its cool ivory base with natural linen, pale timber and soft beige accents. The restrained contrast keeps the large damask graceful rather than dominant.

Its softly contrasting ivory damask is especially suited to full-height curtains where the large repeat can be appreciated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
