Wallis Snow

Darnley Wallpapers WallpaperZOW0083-01

Wallis Snow is a near-white wallpaper scattered with delicate cool-grey, ring-like marks. The restrained contrast gives the surface a softly dappled appearance rather than a strong graphic statement.

About this fabric

The image shows a very pale snow-white ground with closely spaced oval and pebble-like motifs in muted grey, creating a fine, almost stippled rhythm across the sheet. Because the marks remain light against the ground, the colourway reads cool, airy and quietly textured at a distance, with more detail emerging close up. The supplied specification gives a useable width of 68.6 cm and a standard length of 10.05 m. Its 64 cm vertical repeat and 179 gsm weight are also recorded, while the horizontal repeat is 0 cm.

How to use it

Use Wallis Snow across a bedroom, landing or light-filled sitting room where its cool white ground can soften cabinetry and sit comfortably with pale grey, chalky blue or natural timber. Its small-scale grey spotting also works well behind larger plain upholstery and understated artwork.

Its cool, low-contrast palette suits bright, calm interiors and layered tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
