Wallis Paris Grey presents a pale, cool grey ground scattered with tightly spaced, irregular ring-like marks. The restrained contrast gives the surface a softly mottled appearance, with the pattern becoming clearer on closer inspection.

About this fabric

The design is made up of small, uneven pebble- or spot-like outlines distributed across the surface, rather than a bold geometric repeat. Its Paris Grey colourway stays cool and light, with muted grey markings that create depth without a strong change in tone. The fine pattern reads almost as a delicate texture from a distance, then resolves into individual organic marks close up. Supplied at a 68.6 cm usable width and 10.05 m standard length, it has a 64 cm vertical repeat, a 0 cm horizontal repeat and a listed weight of 179 gsm.

How to use it

Use this cool pale grey as a quiet patterned backdrop in a bedroom, hallway or softly furnished sitting room. Pair it with chalky whites, silvered woods and deeper charcoal accents to bring out the spotted detail without warming the colourway.

A cool, finely spotted grey wallpaper that adds quiet pattern without overwhelming a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wallis Paris Grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
