Wave Gris

Wave Fabric

Wave Gris is a pale, cool grey textile with a finely striated surface. Its subtle vertical movement gives the colourway a lightly textured appearance rather than a flat, solid finish.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a softly variegated grey ground crossed by fine vertical lines, creating a restrained woven texture. Light catches the raised threads unevenly, giving the surface gentle tonal depth while keeping the overall impression clean and quiet. The cool grey shade has a slightly silvery cast that will sit comfortably with crisp whites, pale woods and other cool neutrals. No composition, width, rub-test or performance data is supplied for this colourway, so suitability should be confirmed against the requirements of the project.

How to use it

Use Wave Gris where a room needs a cool, silvery neutral with more surface interest than a plain grey. It would suit tailored seating, cushions or relaxed curtains alongside pale timber, white painted finishes and soft blue-grey accents.

Use the cool pale-grey tone to bring quiet definition to tailored upholstery, cushions or softly structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
