Black Edition

Koso Andesite

Ikulu Fabric

Koso Andesite has a cool, pale grey ground with a densely worked woven surface that creates a broken, understated chevron effect. Fine tonal variation gives the cloth a softly dimensional appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The close-set weave combines light grey, charcoal and off-white threads in small irregular zigzags, giving this colourway a restrained, architectural character. Its dense, tactile appearance reads as a substantial upholstery textile, with the raised threads catching the light across the surface. The cool andesite tone is muted rather than stark, making the pattern feel quiet even at close range. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Koso Andesite on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool grey tone can soften stronger architectural lines. Pair it with chalky whites, charcoal accents and pale timber for a calm, textural room scheme.

Use this cool pale grey weave to bring quiet texture and definition to contemporary upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
