Ikulu Anthracite

Ikulu Fabric

Ikulu Anthracite combines near-black charcoal with warm ivory in a visibly irregular horizontal weave. The varied bands and broken rectangular sections give the surface a strongly tactile, graphic character.

About this fabric

The cloth is dominated by deep anthracite and softened ivory, creating a high-contrast monochrome effect rather than a flat solid black. Uneven horizontal bars run across the face, interrupted by block-like sections and fine, visibly nubby threads. Its dense-looking woven surface reads as substantial and well suited to upholstery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Ikulu Anthracite with pale timber, chalky walls or warm ivory upholstery accents to balance its dark, linear texture. It would make a particularly effective statement on a chair, headboard or compact sofa.

Use its charcoal-and-ivory contrast to bring graphic texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
