About this fabric

The close-set horizontal yarn lines create a subtly ribbed appearance rather than a flat black surface. Slight variations in the weave catch the light in narrow glints, giving the ebony ground depth without introducing a visible motif. The overall effect is dark, controlled and contemporary, with a cool charcoal cast that keeps the colour from reading as stark jet black. Its dense, structured-looking weave is particularly suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use Eri Ebony on a tailored sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its charcoal-black depth can anchor a room. Pair it with pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutral textiles to draw out the fine woven texture.

A dense ebony weave with fine horizontal texture for tailored upholstery and dark, contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
