Emily's Bouquet Jet

The Arthur Portfolio FabricEMLYBQUTJET

Emily’s Bouquet Jet places branching cream blossoms and generous floral sprays against a deep jet-black ground. The dark background is visibly textured with fine vertical striations, giving the pattern added depth and movement.

About this fabric

The design combines white and cream blossom clusters with ochre-gold leaves, warm mustard accents and soft blush-pink flowers. Against the near-black ground, the floral colours appear especially vivid, while the irregular branches create a lively, all-over rhythm. The cloth surface shows a subtle vertical woven texture that breaks up the darkness and catches the light softly. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where a deep, dramatic floral is wanted: it would bring strong contrast to an armchair, headboard or occasional upholstered piece. Balance the jet ground with warm timber, aged brass and cream upholstery companions to draw out the ochre and blush notes.

A dramatic jet-black ground gives the cream blossoms and ochre-pink florals a rich, decorative presence on upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
