Cameo Jet

The Arthur Portfolio FabricCAMEOJET

Cameo Jet pairs a deep charcoal-green ground with closely spaced, elongated floral motifs. Dusty mauve blossoms, muted olive leaves and fine pale detailing give the dark colourway a softly vintage character.

About this fabric

The repeating motifs form slender, teardrop-like botanical sprays, each centred with clusters of dusty pink and mauve flowers. Against the nearly black charcoal ground, the olive foliage and pale tan outlines remain clearly defined without making the pattern feel bright. The smooth-looking surface shown here lets the dark background hold visual depth while the small-scale repeat supplies detail. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Cameo Jet for full-length curtains in a room with warm timber, aged brass or muted blush accents. Its charcoal depth can also balance pale upholstery and prevent a floral scheme from becoming overly sweet.

Use the dark ground and fine floral repeat to frame windows or add depth to a softly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
