About this fabric

The cool grey palette has a gently muted, mineral quality, with pale botanical motifs standing out across the ground in soft tonal contrast. The design brings together rounded, overlapping leaves, fine feathery stems and gathered fan shapes, giving the surface a distinctly layered rhythm. At 510 gsm and 14 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile with a dense handle suited to upholstery. It has a 140 cm usable width and a 70.5 cm vertical by 70 cm horizontal pattern repeat, useful specifications when planning patterned furniture.

How to use it

Use Highclere Zinc on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its cool mineral tone can balance warmer wood and natural woven textures. Pale stone upholstery details or softly aged metal will pick up the lighter botanical forms without competing with the pattern.

A substantial zinc-grey botanical weave for quietly elegant upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Highclere Zinc without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
