The tonal contrast is restrained rather than stark: chalky grey motifs sit softly against the deeper Empire Grey background, giving the pattern a misted, almost silvery depth. Large opposing leaves and scrolling edges frame the central floral medallion, while small geometric details add definition within the larger forms.
