Highclere Zinc

Darnley Wallpapers WallpaperZOW0077-03

Highclere Zinc places tall, feathery stems and broad, arching leaves across a softly brushed zinc-grey ground. Pale ivory, chalk and taupe details give the botanical design a cool, gently weathered depth.

About this wallpaper

This Zoffany wallpaper has a muted zinc-grey background, overlaid with loosely painted foliage, reed-like sprays and slender vertical stems. The pale botanical marks shift between soft ivory, stone and warm grey, so the surface reads as layered rather than sharply contrasted. It is supplied at a 68.6 cm useable width, with a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. The standard roll length is 10.05 m, and the supplied weight is 179 gsm.

How to use it

Pair the cool grey-blue ground with chalky upholstery, weathered timber and brushed metal for a calm, collected room. The tall stems and sweeping leaves would suit a feature wall where their 64 cm vertical repeat can be appreciated.

Use this cool zinc-grey botanical wallpaper to bring quiet, silvery depth to bedrooms, studies or softly layered sitting rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Highclere Zinc without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
