Tours Stone

Damask The Alchemy of Colour Wallpapers WallpaperZOW0057-02

Tours Stone pairs a pale, cool stone-grey ground with a softly contrasting ivory damask. The large scrolling arrangement is clearly visible across the swatch, with floral medallions and curling foliage creating a composed, classical impression.

About this wallpaper

The muted stone-grey background gives this colourway a calm, lightly cool depth, while the ivory motif appears softened rather than stark, allowing the damask to read with gentle tonal contrast. Large floral medallions, scrolling leaves and symmetrical flourishes fill the design in a formal repeat, with the pale pattern catching the eye against the quieter ground. This wallpaper has a 64.1 cm vertical pattern repeat and no horizontal repeat. The supplied specification gives a 68.6 cm usable width, a 10.05 m standard length and a weight of 153 gsm.

How to use it

Use Tours Stone where a room needs classical structure without a strong colour statement: it suits softly furnished bedrooms, elegant hallways and living spaces layered with warm ivory, pale timber or brushed metal.

Use this softly contrasting stone-and-ivory damask to bring quiet classical pattern to bedrooms, hallways or refined living spaces.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tours Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
