Zinc Textile

Turo Seafoam

Turo Seafoam presents as a cool, muted seafoam with a grey-green cast. Its close, velvety surface has a restrained tonal depth that shifts gently across the swatch as the pile catches the light.

About this fabric

Catalogued as Velvet from Zinc Textile’s Dvvvelvets collection, Turo Seafoam has no performance features or further specification data supplied. The image shows an even, plain surface rather than a visible motif, with a fine nap that gives the colour a softly brushed appearance. Its seafoam tone is subdued rather than bright, balancing green with a noticeable grey veil for a calm, contemporary finish. The dense-looking pile and plush visual character make it best suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Pair Turo Seafoam with warm timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass to offset its cool grey-green tone. On an armchair or headboard, its soft pile can add depth without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this cool, muted seafoam velvet to bring softly refined colour to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Pairs well with

Turo Seafoam is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
