Elgin Caramel

Elgin Caramel brings together warm caramel beige, chalky cream and muted taupe in a richly layered marbled pattern. Its symmetrical central formation gives the colourway a composed, architectural presence.

About this fabric

The large-scale design is built from mirrored, flowing striations, with a darker taupe-beige centre framed by pale cream ripples. Across the surface, the irregular edges and softly mottled texture create depth without introducing bright or saturated colour. The overall effect is warm, mineral-like and quietly decorative, with the cream areas catching the light against the deeper caramel ground. No performance features, composition, width or rub-test information are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair Elgin Caramel with warm ivory, oat and weathered timber to draw out its gentle cream and caramel tones. It would suit a tailored sofa, occasional chair or softly structured curtain where the symmetrical pattern can be appreciated.

Use this softly contrasted caramel beige in tailored upholstery or full-length curtains for a calm, layered interior.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elgin Caramel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
