Tommy Tobacco

Geronimo Fabric

Tommy Tobacco brings a warm, earthy contrast to the Geronimo design, with tobacco-brown markings set across a softly creamy ground. Its all-over arrangement combines angular zigzags and chevrons with shorter dashes, dots and brush-like marks.

About this fabric

The colourway reads as a muted tobacco brown rather than a sharp chocolate or saturated rust, giving the pattern a grounded, sun-warmed character. Against it, the cream background keeps the densely arranged geometric marks feeling light and open. Repeated zigzag bands, directional chevrons, broken lines and small dotted clusters create a lively, hand-drawn surface across the visible textile. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its suitability should be considered according to the intended upholstery or drapery application.

How to use it

Pair Tommy Tobacco with pale oak, rattan and unbleached linen to draw out its warm cream ground, or use it against darker timber where the tobacco pattern can read with greater depth. It would bring relaxed graphic interest to occasional upholstery, cushions or softly coordinated window treatments.

Use the warm tobacco markings with natural woods, woven textures and soft cream upholstery or window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tommy Tobacco without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
