About this fabric

The fabric appears as a dense plain weave in near-charcoal graphite, with tiny tonal variations visible between the threads. Fine vertical lines give the surface a lightly striated character rather than a completely flat finish. Its dark, cool colouring reads as sophisticated and architectural, while the woven face softens the severity of the shade. This is a fabric from Zinc Textile’s Sartorial collection; no further performance or composition specifications were supplied.

How to use it

Use this cool graphite colourway to upholster a contemporary armchair, sofa or headboard, especially alongside pale stone, chalky grey and brushed metal. Its subtle vertical texture also gives plain curtains or cushions more depth without introducing a visible pattern.

A deep graphite plain weave that brings quiet structure to upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
