Spinner Dusk

Spinner Fabric

Spinner Dusk has a cool silver-grey ground animated by overlapping crescent forms in chalky ivory and deeper charcoal. Fine linear marks within each sweep give the surface a lightly brushed, tactile appearance.

About this fabric

The pattern is made up of repeated arcing brushstrokes, with the darkest charcoal shapes adding depth against the quieter grey background. Ivory crescents catch the eye as brighter accents, while the tonal grey passages keep the overall colourway muted rather than stark. The visible surface is marked by closely spaced linear striations that follow each curved motif. No performance features are noted for this catalogued fabric.

How to use it

Use Spinner Dusk where a calm, cool foundation is wanted, such as a silver-grey occasional chair, relaxed curtains or cushions layered with ivory and charcoal. Its pale ground can also soften darker timber and black metal accents.

Pair the cool silver-grey ground with pale upholstery, charcoal accents or softly contrasting warm neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Spinner Dusk without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
