About Kandola

Kandola is a family run business across three generations, making luxurious interior furnishings and exclusive textile wallcoverings from Kandola House in Wolverhampton. The journey began in 1964 in fashion textiles, creating bespoke fabrics with embroidery patterns designed and produced in the United Kingdom, and that work brought the company to the attention of film studios: Kandola fabrics were specified for productions including Gladiator, Tomb Raider and Cleopatra.

It works to order for interior designers and specifiers rather than publishing a fixed seasonal range, sourcing and manufacturing across a wide spread of interior sectors. Its sister operations cover the rest of the process: Walltex provides textile lamination, backing and finishing, and K Decor supplies handloom silk brocades, limited edition textiles and acoustic fabric panels.

A house that will make a cloth to order is worth knowing about when a room needs something that does not exist yet, which on a bespoke commission is more often than you would think.

The pattern books

Not in the digital library, in the room.

We hold this house in the pattern-book room rather than in the online finder, which covers the collections we have photographed ourselves. Come and turn the pages, or tell us the room and we will bring the books to you.

Bring the room, we will bring the books.

Send a photograph and a rough size and we will reply with a personal quote, using an average price fabric.
