About Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren Home's fabrics and wallpapers reach the United Kingdom through Designers Guild, which has been the European and Middle Eastern distributor since 1999. So the books sit in our pattern-book room alongside the King's Road ranges and are ordered the same way.
It is the most consistently classical house we hold. Tartans and tickings, heavy linens, tweeds and hide, in a palette that hardly moves between collections, which makes it useful for a room being furnished over years rather than in one go.
It suits the work we do most of: a chesterfield or a wing chair taken back to the frame and recovered in something that will not look dated in ten years.
