Dandy 8

Dandy FabricDANDY-COL-8

Dandy 8 is a richly shaded brown textile with the quietly tactile character of a close, fine weave. Its surface moves between deep tobacco and warmer russet tones, giving the colourway noticeable depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The dense-looking weave is finely textured, with irregular cloudy shifts that catch the light as softer copper-brown areas against a deeper brown ground. The overall tone is warm and earthy, while the subtle variation keeps the surface visually active without introducing a distinct printed motif. This compact woven appearance makes Dandy 8 particularly suited to upholstery, where its depth can give a chair, bench or sofa a grounded presence. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Dandy 8 on a traditional or contemporary seat where its warm tobacco tone can sit comfortably alongside oak, walnut, aged leather and cream or stone textiles. The softly mottled surface also helps brown upholstery feel layered rather than overly uniform.

Use this warm tobacco-brown weave to bring depth to upholstered seating and pair it with natural timber, leather or softly contrasting neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
