Beagle Whale Linen Fabric

Misc Fabric

Beagle Whale has a deep, cool taupe tone that reads almost charcoal-brown in the shadowed areas of the swatch. Its fine, even weave gives the plain surface quiet visual depth without introducing a pattern.

About this fabric

The close plain weave is clearly visible as a delicate crosshatch, creating a softly textured rather than completely flat finish. This dark taupe colourway has a muted, earthy character, with slightly warmer brown notes emerging where the light catches the threads. The fabric is suitable for both upholstery and drapery based on its versatile-looking woven construction. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Beagle Whale on a tailored chair, bench or relaxed curtain to bring a cool, grounded taupe note into a room. Pair it with chalky whites, smoked timber and aged metal so its subtle brown depth remains visible.

A deep, understated taupe with a finely woven surface for tailored upholstery or softly structured drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
