About this fabric

This colourway has a cool sage tone with a noticeable grey cast, keeping the green muted rather than bright or strongly saturated. The close velvet pile gives the swatch a softly brushed appearance, with subtle changes in depth across the surface. There is no printed motif; the interest comes from the nap and its gentle light-catching variation. No composition, width or performance rating is supplied for this exact fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use this quiet sage green on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool, softened tone can sit comfortably with warm timber, chalky neutrals and aged metal. The plain velvet surface also allows stronger patterned cushions or artwork to provide contrast.

The softly greyed sage tone and gentle velvet nap bring understated depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
