About this fabric

The colour sits between biscuit and light caramel, giving this colourway a warm, grounded appearance rather than a cool or greyed beige. A fine, closely textured surface is visible across the swatch, with subtle vertical shifts in shading that reveal the direction of the velvet pile. The design is plain, with no printed motif or contrasting pattern visible. It is catalogued as a velvet and no composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Use this warm wafer shade to bring softness to a reading chair, headboard or sofa, particularly alongside cream, natural timber and muted terracotta accents. Its restrained surface pattern lets the gentle nap variation provide the visual interest.

A warm biscuit-toned velvet with subtle nap variation, well suited to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
