Misc Fabric

Nest Lichen pairs a muted olive tone with a tightly repeated batik-like grid. Its softly mottled surface gives the colour a quiet, weathered depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The design is formed from small, irregular geometric marks that interlock across the surface like a hand-drawn lattice. Lichen olive and softened sage tones shift gently through the ground, while lighter marks bring subtle contrast to the close-up texture. The visible weave has a tactile, linen-like character with enough visual structure to read clearly without becoming busy. This versatile mid-weight appearance makes the fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Nest Lichen on a relaxed armchair, tailored cushions or full-height curtains where its cool, muted olive tone can sit alongside warm timber, chalky walls and natural fibres. The small-scale pattern works especially well as a quiet textural layer with plain upholstery.

A softly weathered olive ground with a small batik-like grid, well suited to relaxed seating, cushions and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nest Lichen Fabric | Batik Linen Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
