Black Edition

Zurana Teal

Zurana Teal has a cool, muted blue-teal ground crossed by a close, irregular check. Grey, cream, taupe and black threads give the surface a layered, tactile appearance rather than a flat printed look.

About this fabric

The design is built from intersecting vertical and horizontal lines, with small broken marks and uneven woven bands creating a medium-scale checked pattern. Its teal tone reads softly against pale grey and cream areas, while ochre-taupe flecks and fine black lines add warmth and definition. The visibly nubby, variegated surface gives the colourway depth as the light catches different threads. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Zurana Teal on an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard where its cool blue-green base can sit alongside warm taupe, natural wood and soft cream. Keep surrounding plains quiet so the intricate check remains the room’s main textural accent.

A textured, architectural check in cool teal, softened by grey, cream and warm taupe accents.

Pairs well with

Zurana Teal is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
