Maroque Meteor

Herbaria Fabric

Maroque Meteor brings a richly layered paisley and scrolling pattern to the cushion setting shown, combining deep teal with smoky charcoal, cream and antique gold. Its intricate surface catches the light across the sweeping motifs, giving the design a decorative, dimensional presence.

About this fabric

The Meteor colourway is built around a deep blue-teal ground, with charcoal and brown shadowing that gives the pattern considerable depth. Cream and muted antique-gold lines pick out the curling paisley forms, while occasional warmer highlights soften the cooler teal balance. The substantial-looking textile is shown upholstered on cushions and a seat, where the large-scale ornament reads as an opulent, immersive pattern rather than a small repeating print.

How to use it

Use Maroque Meteor on occasional chairs, a statement sofa or layered cushions where its deep teal and gilded detailing can anchor a richly furnished room. Balance the ornate surface with plain cream, charcoal or weathered brown upholstery elsewhere.

Pair the deep teal ground and antique-gold scrolling with warm wood, aged brass and quieter neutral textiles.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
