About this fabric

The large-scale floral composition has a painterly, softly brushed appearance, with overlapping blooms that create considerable depth across the dark background. This colourway balances cool charcoal and grey-green foliage with powder pink, creamy white and muted peach petals. Small touches of ochre, rust and burgundy give the flowers definition without making the overall palette feel bright or heavily saturated. As no composition, width or performance specification has been supplied, its suitability should be confirmed against the intended upholstery or drapery application.

How to use it

Pair Herbaria Malva with charcoal, mushroom or deep green upholstery, then pick up its blush and ivory petals in cushions or trims. It would bring a moody, collected floral layer to a sitting room, bedroom or reading space.

Use the charcoal ground to anchor pale blush, ivory and leafy green furnishings in a layered, atmospheric scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
