Arkose Orion

Arkose Fabric

Arkose Orion combines deep ink-blue and black geometric forms with contrasting stone and oatmeal sections. Its tactile surface gives the pattern visible depth, with some darker areas catching the light more softly than the pale woven sections.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular rounded blocks and rectangular bands, creating a tightly repeated geometric rhythm across the cloth. Its palette moves between near-black, cool blue-grey and warm stone-oatmeal, giving this colourway a moody but balanced character. The surface shows contrasting textures: darker blue and black areas appear softly plush, while the lighter sections have a more visibly nubby woven face. As a catalogued fabric with a substantial-looking surface, it is particularly suited to upholstery where the graphic pattern can remain prominent.

How to use it

Use Arkose Orion on a statement chair, footstool or compact sofa, pairing its ink-blue and black depth with warm stone walls, timber and brushed metal. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the varied block geometry remains the room’s focal point.

A graphic, tactile textile for statement seating and darker contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
