Arkose Fabric

Benetti Autumn has a deep charcoal-brown ground enlivened by fine rust and copper-coloured flecks. Its tactile surface is arranged in softly broken horizontal bands, giving the swatch a layered, naturally irregular character.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals a dense, nubby weave with subtle shifts between smoky grey-brown, near-black and warm autumnal brown. Rust-toned threads catch intermittently across the surface rather than forming a distinct printed motif, creating depth without visual sharpness. Broad horizontal changes in tone add a gentle sense of movement, while the substantial-looking texture reads particularly well for upholstery. The overall effect is earthy, low-lit and relaxed, with enough tonal variation to conceal a completely uniform appearance.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-brown and rust colourway on a tailored sofa or statement armchair, then pick up its warm flecks with cognac leather, aged brass or burnt-orange accents. Keep surrounding walls and flooring restrained so the woven bands remain visible.

Use this warm charcoal-brown weave on sofas, occasional chairs or ottomans, pairing it with aged timber, leather and muted autumnal tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
