Mariinsky Verditer combines cool teal, slate grey, olive and pale stone in a strongly vertical damask arrangement. The alternating bands give the design a composed, architectural character, while the softly textured surface keeps the contrast from feeling harsh.

About this fabric

The central slate-grey panel carries a large, repeating damask motif, framed by narrow olive lines and richly coloured teal patterned bands. Pale stone side panels repeat the scrolling ornament in a quieter, more open contrast, creating depth across the full width of the design. The fabric has a structured textile appearance suited to both upholstery and drapery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the cool teal and slate tones with charcoal, aged brass and pale stone upholstery, or use the vertical bands on full-length curtains to emphasise ceiling height. Olive accents will draw out the narrow framing stripes without competing with the damask.
