About this fabric

The visible surface is finely textured, with a close all-over arrangement of floral, leafy and scrolling forms rather than a single isolated motif. Charcoal and blue-grey tones anchor the design, while muted mauve, dusty pink, pale sage and occasional coral accents create a complex, dusky palette. The pattern has a softly distressed appearance, allowing the colours to merge at a distance and reveal intricate detail more closely. Its substantial-looking, textured handle makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Pair Lombardo Zinnia with charcoal, weathered timber and muted mauve upholstery for a moody room, or use it as curtains to draw out its sage and coral flecks. Its busy painterly surface works especially well against quiet plain furnishings.

Use this richly layered charcoal colourway to bring painterly floral depth to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
