Tiano Gunmetal

Nuala Fabric

Tiano Gunmetal has a cool gunmetal-grey ground enlivened by tightly packed ivory, taupe, brown and muted rust threads. Its woven face creates a broken linear rhythm with plenty of close-up texture.

About this fabric

The surface is formed from dense, irregular vertical dashes and short horizontal interruptions, giving the cloth a softly striated appearance rather than a flat plain finish. Gunmetal grey remains the dominant tone, while pale ivory and mushroom taupe catch the light between deeper charcoal, brown and restrained blue-green accents. Small rust-coloured flecks add warmth without disturbing the colourway’s predominantly cool, mineral character. The substantial-looking woven texture is especially suited to upholstery where its tonal variation can be seen across a larger surface.

How to use it

Use Tiano Gunmetal on an armchair, sofa or footstool in a contemporary room with charcoal, warm white and weathered timber. Echo its discreet rust and taupe notes through cushions or ceramics while keeping the wider scheme calm and architectural.

A dense, characterful weave that brings layered grey depth and subtle colour variation to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
