Black Edition

Ilana White Pepper

Ilana White Pepper is a pale, softly warmed neutral with a fine woven surface that gives the otherwise plain cloth gentle visual movement. Its light greige tone reads calm and airy rather than stark white.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a small-scale woven texture, with delicate horizontal and vertical threads creating a subtle crosshatched effect across the surface. White Pepper sits between ivory and light greige, with a muted warmth that softens its clean appearance. There is no visible printed motif or strong contrast, so the texture supplies the fabric’s character while allowing the colour to remain quiet. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this pale warm greige with chalky whites, natural timber and softly coloured upholstery for a relaxed, light-filled scheme. Its restrained texture also works well on curtains or occasional seating where a plain neutral would otherwise feel too flat.

Use this softly textured White Pepper neutral to bring calm, understated lightness to seating, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with

Ilana White Pepper is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
