Hortus Blush

Eden FabricCCF0385-01

Hortus Blush brings a muted blush-pink ground to an intricate botanical scene of oak leaves, acorns, butterflies and fine branching stems. Olive greens, parchment leaves and dark outlines give the colourway a softly aged, illustrated character.

About this fabric

The warm blush ground is balanced by olive and moss-green foliage, pale sage and parchment leaves, and charcoal-brown linework that defines the delicate botanical forms. Oak branches with acorns sit alongside smaller leafy sprigs and scattered butterflies, creating a layered woodland composition rather than a simple repeating leaf. The pattern has a 60cm vertical repeat and 33.8cm horizontal repeat, so the varied motifs will read clearly across a larger upholstered or dressed surface. At 228gsm and 138cm usable width, Hortus Blush is a versatile mid-weight option for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the dusty blush tone to warm a neutral bedroom, reading nook or sitting room, pairing it with olive paint, aged timber and warm ivory upholstery. On curtains or a blind, the pale leaves and dark botanical outlines will retain their detail while softening the window with a gentle rose cast.

A softly muted blush botanical that brings leafy detail and gentle contrast to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hortus Blush without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
