About this fabric

The close weave combines fine horizontal and vertical threads, creating a restrained grid-like texture rather than a conventional printed motif. Its steel-grey tone reads deep and cool, while the mixed threads catch the light with gentle shifts between charcoal and softer grey. At 220gsm and 147cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make cutting and matching straightforward, and the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use this cool steel grey on a clean-lined armchair, sofa or relaxed curtain to bring depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with pale stone, chalky whites or warm timber to balance its charcoal-like intensity.

A versatile steel-grey woven texture with a quiet, tailored character for upholstery, curtains and coordinated soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
