Linoso II Smoke is a deep charcoal-grey textile with a finely grained woven surface. Its near-black depth is softened by subtle lighter threads that give the plain cloth quiet visual movement.

About this fabric

The dense 220 gsm weave reads as a versatile mid-weight, making this fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. In the swatch, charcoal and smoke-grey threads form a restrained crosswoven texture rather than a printed motif, so the surface remains calm at a distance while showing fine detail close up. With a usable width of 147 cm, it offers practical coverage for larger applications. The 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats also allow straightforward cutting with no design matching required.

How to use it

Use Linoso II Smoke on a clean-lined sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its cool charcoal tone can anchor softer greys, chalky neutrals and natural wood. Layer it with warm off-whites or brushed metal to keep the deep shade considered rather than stark.

Use this deep smoke grey as a grounding neutral against pale timber, warm metals or tonal grey layers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
